1961 Ringo Starr Pre-Beatles Poster
Back before the Fab Four materialized, drummer Ringo Starr performed with Rory Storm & The Hurricanes, and this unused, folded, 30" x 20" poster trumpeting the band's appearance is NRMT. Several acts earn billing for the show produced by Lewis Buckley Entertainments, LTD, which took place at Dann's in Shrewbury, Morley's in Oswestry, and Luxitours in Wellington. This poster originates from the lead guitarist of one of Liverpool's top Merseybeat bands, Dale Roberts & the Jay Walkers, who were on the bill that night alongside Ringo and Rory. That is why this is so mint, because he has saved it since then!
