1963 Beatles EMI Record Store Display Sign - First Ever!

1963 Beatles EMI Record Store Display Sign - First Ever!

This is a sensational heavy stock board vintage 1963 UK in-store EMI Beatles promotional display, reading "Here They Are The Fabulous Beatles" and "EMI The greatest Recording Organisation in the World." This display was intended for a London record store and is from the period when EMI issued some of the Beatles first songs in 1963. The image of the Fab Four in their Nehru jackets is from the same photo shoot by famed Czechoslovakian photographer Dezo Hoffman for their first single, Please Please Me! Thus, this display is from when they were first introduced in the UK in early 1963. It features great day-glow lettering against a black matte finish background, and opens to a large 18x22" display. Reads "Printed in in England A1104/863," and is in EX-MT condition.
