1963 Sam Cooke Fully Signed Program From "The Harlem Square" Tour
From the year of the famed Harlem Square Show, signatures were all obtained at the time by a tour "insider." Nearly complete, the signatures include the key tour members and even some of their wives. Absolutely magnificently done, all signed right on their large photographs: 1) Sam Cooke front and center on page one. 2) Huge, "Make It Easy On Yourself Jerry Butler" with his wife as well. 3) "Your Man Dee Clark" and wife. 4) "Gene" (Pearson) The Drifters". 5) Signed by all four of the magical "Crystals." 6) A young Dionne Warwick. 7) Plus, signed by Johnny Thunder, Little Julius High, Gorgeous George, Little Esther Phillips, Clifford Burks and Lee Moses. The book itself is strong VG-EX, signatures are NRMT-MT with some in pencil, and the all-important Sam Cooke in ink. Not his wife of course, he was shot by a jealous man.
