1965 Sandy Koufax Game Used No-Hitter Baseball

1965 Sandy Koufax Game Used No-Hitter Baseball

Sandy Koufax tossed four no-hitters during his brief but remarkable career. This official National League (Giles) ball comes with a letter of provenance stating that it was given to a member of the Dodgers' ground crew as a gift after being used in the fourth and final of his no-nos, and verifying that it is signed by both Koufax and his catcher for that game, Jeff Torborg. The signature of Torborg is barely legible, Koufax's signature is in pencil in 8.5/10 and states, "To Gus, Best Wishes." Also written, below Torborg's signature, "9-9, caught no-hit game vs Chicago Cubs - Sandy Koufax pitching."
