1968 Janis Joplin Personally Used Hairbrush from Rainbow Ballroom Performance (LOA)

1968 Janis Joplin Personally Used Hairbrush from Rainbow Ballroom Performance (LOA)

She gave a little piece of her heart in the famous song, and now you could own a little piece of Janis Joplin's hair. This "Mohawk" brush was used by the rock star prior to her January 5, 1968, performance with her band Big Brother and the Holding Company, along with Valley Fever at the Rainbow Ballroom in Fresno, California. Comes with an LOA from a man who worked backstage at the concert and obtained the brush directly. Also included in the lot is an 8.5x11" original handbill from the show, with Joplin being the only artist to appear via photo on the flyer.
