1969 Baseball Centennial Signed Dinner Program
On the day Neil Armstrong was taking his famous "first step for mankind" on the lunar surface, baseball's elite were gathered at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Washington for the Baseball Centennial Dinner. From that high-profile event comes this 8.5" x 11" program, which is signed on the inside pages by 40 of the game's all-time greats. The book is in EX-MT condition while the signatures average 9/10 and are in ink. Some of those included are from Kuhn, Medwick, Dizzy Dean, Musial, Gehringer, Grove, Same Rice, Jesse Owens, Frisch, Greenberg, Wheat, Mantle, Ruffing and many more. All signed in person.
