Roger Mears Race Worn Suit
Former off-road driver Roger Mears wore this colorful Simpson suit in the late 1980s, as the 1988 year tag inside indicates. Mears actually followed his brother Rick - who is five years younger - to the Indianapolis 500 earlier in the decade, finishing as high as fourth on numerous occasions. The suit features patches for the following companies: Budweiser, Bridgestone, Nissan, Unocal, Bosch, Simpson, TIF, Fox, ATI and American Racing Equipment. Mears' signature is stitched into the right breast along with the initials OHR alongside a Simpson tag. Shows nice use.
