1971-72 Football Bowl Games Original Artwork by Willard Mullin
One of the greatest sports cartoonists ever to apply ink to paper, Willard Mullin penned this virtual mosaic of the various bowl games from the 1971-72 college football season, complete with illustrated mascots and character captions. Mullin - who was 69 years old at the time - signed his creation, which consists of pen, ink, and water color. Measures roughly 19" x 25" and is in EX condition. It is a true rarity to find Mullin originals done in color, and this one is a gem.
