1971 Muhammad Ali vs. Joe Frazier Fight Poster (14x22”)
A great piece of vintage cardboard advertising used to announce the big screen closed circuit TV live broadcast of a boxing event that transcended the sport - Muhammad Ali “a.k.a. Cassius Clay” and Joe Frazier - both undefeated. This was one of the most anticipated events in history, touted as simply, “The Fight.” Poster is headlined by the words, “The Greatest Event in All Sports History” and displays fabulous full body photos of each fighter. As advertised, this was broadcast “direct from ringside - Madison Sq. Garden, N.Y.C.” with “<u>no</u> delayed telecast” and “<u>no</u> radio broadcast.” In amazing unrestored, EX-MT condition, it exhibits vivid red, yellow & black colors with virtually no fading whatsoever.
