Terrific 1974 Denver Rockets practice uniform includes purple jersey and gold shorts. From the Jan van Breda Kolff collection, this is a rare version with reversible top, dating from the year before the then-ABA franchise changed its nickname to the Nuggets as part of the merger with the NBA, which already had its own Rockets in Houston. The jersey color shows fading from extensive wear, and the shorts have Denver Rockets embroidered on the left thigh, with Champion XL tag in waistband.
