1976 Ali-Coopman Program and Tickets

1976 Ali-Coopman Program and Tickets

The Ali-Coopman bout on February 20, 1976 was the 1st heavyweight title fight to be held on Puerto Rican soil, perhaps the only distinction of the mismatch in which Ali stopped the not-so-ferocious Belgian "Lion of Flanders" in round 5. 9 x 12" program is a classic Don King self-tribute with shots of him and his frizzy hair on the cover and inside, and color shots of the fighters on the cover with a yellow slash reading "Roberto Clemente Coliseum, San Juan, P.R." Inside is a moving tribute to "The Unforgettable Roberto Clemente." Program has a fold line from top to bottom o/w EX. Also $50 and a $10 site ticket stubs to the contest, the latter the more desirable version with an Ali collage pictured on it.
