19th Century Lemon Peel Baseball Shaving Mug

19th Century Lemon Peel Baseball Shaving Mug

19th century relic, an occupational shaving mug with shiny white finish boldly displays the baseball equipment of mid 19th century baseball. Two crossed baseball bats are displayed with classic lemon peel baseball below. Most certainly a lemon peel with the "Y" seam indicative of these early baseballs. Gold gilted design surrounds with the name "Claire F. Rosia" in slightly worn gold paint below. The bat and ball design is miraculously preserved, appearing as vibrant as the day it was born. Completely intact with no chips or crazing. EX-MT.
