2 Norman Rockwell Prints, One Signed
Two classic baseball prints by famed artist Norman Rockwell, one signed by the artist. First is "The Windup", completed in 1976 and signed by Rockwell in pencil on the lower righthand corner. The signature rates a "9" out of a possible 10. This eleven color print is 26 x 29 1/2" and shows a turn of the century pitcher in a red and white striped cap and socks winding up to throw while the umpire, smoking a cigar, stands behind him. The second print is called, "The Dugout" and depicts Bob Rush, Charlie Grimm and other members of the 1948 Chicago Cubs looking dejected at Braves Field in Boston as they were swept in a doubleheader. Handsome full color print measures 20 x 24" and is numbered 196/200. It comes with a framed COA from Rockwell's estate. Both prints are professionally framed and are NRMT.
