2001 Woodward Stakes Saddlecloth

2001 Woodward Stakes Saddlecloth

Addendum: Includes signed winner's circle photo and program.

Coming in against the defending 2000 Breeders Crown champion, Tiznow, Lido Palace had a tall order in the 2001 Woodward Stakes. This deep blue saddlecloth measures 41x37" and has Palace's name and number 3 in white lettering on both sides, a perfect keepsake of the victory in that showdown. The Chilean thoroughbred won Horse of the Year in his native country in 2000, and was the first Chilean Triple Crown winner on dirt. The cloth is autographed in black marker by jockey Jery Bailey and trainer Robert Frankel, and is in beautiful condition.
