2008 Lou Piniella All-Star Game Worn Jersey
Beautiful 2008 Lou Piniella Chicago Cubs game worn All-Star jersey. Gray road button-front top has Yankee Stadium All-Star Game patch on right sleeve with Cubs bear logo crest on the left, Majestic and size 50 tags on tail with gray "41 50 08 52" strip tag in collar. CHICAGO is stitched in individual letters across the chest above Sweet Lou's number 41 in red-on-white; reverse has name in individual letters above the number in same colors as front. Nicely signed on the front and inscribed, "Game Used 2008 All Star Game," shows nice use with some pilling. Piniella was a bench coach for that classic 15-inning marathon, won by the American League by a 4-3 count.
