Anthony Rizzo August 1, 2013, game worn pinstriped home Cubs jersey. This was first baseman Rizzo's third Major League season, his second with the Chicago Cubs, as the club finished fifth in the National League Central Division, but was assembling the team that would eventually win the World Series in 2016. Rizzo hit only .233 in this 2013 season, but showed his power potential when he hit 23 homers and had 80 RBI. In the August 1 game when he wore this jersey, Rizzo had a great day. Although the Cubs lost 6-4 at Wrigley Field against the Los Angeles Dodgers, Rizzo went 2-for-3 with 2 HRs and 2 RBI. Nice use shown with dirt stains throughout. "44 50 '13 S11" tag in neck. MLB hologram on back. Tag on lower front that shows the MLB logo and reads," Authentic Collection Performance Appraisal SIZE 50." Has classic red, white, and blue Cub emblem on left sleeve. Back has "RIZZO 44". Photo-matched as well. This is a great addition to any baseball collection: a beautiful game-worn jersey in excellent condition from a star player who helped the Cubs to their first World Series win since 1908.
