Beautifully handwritten by the Hall of Fame pioneer in black fountain pen on “AG Spalding & Bros. Sporting Goods” letterhead: “Henry Hall & Co. Highland Mills New York. Gentleman: In payment of your 3/21 – 255.67 – 1.5% = $251.84 Yours Very Truly Al Spalding & Bros.” Ink is a perfect 10/10. Letterhead is adorned with images of sporting goods and boasts: “Baseball Supplies, Fishing Tackle, Archery, Lawn Tennis, Croquet Skates, Gymnasium, Boating, Theatrical, and General Sporting Goods”. Paper is creased 3 times with no other damage. EX-MT.
