Ali-Liston Photo by Neil Leifer

Ali-Liston Photo by Neil Leifer

Perhaps the most famous boxing photo ever shows Muhammad Ali lording it over a knocked down Sonny Liston in Lewiston, Maine in 1965, the result of a punch one boxing writer said, "couldn't crush a daisy". Rumor had it that Sonny took a dive, in fear of Ali's Black Muslim cohorts. All the controversy and drama of that night is captured in the crystal clear 24 x 30" color photo numbered 78/350 and signed in clear black sharpie by both Ali and famous sports photographer Neil Leifer. Ali's signature rates a "9.5" out of a possible 10 while Leifer's is a "9" out of a possible 10. NRMT. Comes with LOA from Leifer.
