Awe-Inspiring 1905 Pittsburgh Pirates Mounted Panoramic Photograph

Awe-Inspiring 1905 Pittsburgh Pirates Mounted Panoramic Photograph

Resplendent image of this baseball powerhouse of the beginning of big time baseball. Crystal clear image is a reflective pool of baseball past. Present and accounted for are such legends of the dead ball era such as Honus Wagner, Fred Clarke, Tommy Leach, Ginger Beaumont, and Del Howard holding his “P” cap in hand, for a total of 21 swashbucklers. They are dressed to the nines including the Flying Dutchman in his perfectly buttoned to the collar, beautifully monogrammed “Pittsburgh Base Ball Club” wool coat. A stately and dignified Honus Wagner has a force in his eyes that seems to lead the charge. Sandy gray mount is 18x12” overall, and is in a beautifully preserved Fine+ state. Photo itself has some minor scuffing which could be easily restored, o/w EX-MT. This is one of the finest team photographs you will ever see, PERIOD.
