Babe Ruth 714th Home Run Ticket from His 3-HR Game

Babe Ruth 714th Home Run Ticket from His 3-HR Game

One of the most important baseball games in history. Essentially, this is the Holy Grail of baseball tickets and if it is not, it should be. The extremely rare stub is one of only a handful known to exist. It is rare for good reason. The game on May 26, 1935 was played In front of a sparse Forbes Field crowd of only about 10,000 diehard fans. No one knew this would be the Babe's final fling. And they would also not know it was to be an incredible game for the ages. He crushed three home runs, going 4-for-4 with six RBIs. Legend has it that his legendary third blast cleared the right-field roof, an estimated 600 feet from home plate, arguably the longest ever hit in Forbes Field’s 61-year history. This was also the 714th, and last, home run of Babe Ruth’s career... his last hurrah. Sadly, Ruth would soon leave the stage forever for only the occasional inactive curtain call. Only a few of these tickets have been publicly sold. Has creasing and punching. PSA slabbed "Authentic." It certainly is.
