Bell Telephone Baseball Fan

Bell Telephone Baseball Fan

It is difficult to date this item, which was distributed by the New York Telephone Company. It is a circle of card stock 8" in diameter with an 8" wooden stick attached, meant to be used as a fan. It is designed to look like a baseball and on one side says "A Telephone Fan for a Fan Who Telephones," with the company name below. The reverse side features the traditional "Blue Bell" Service Mark, stating "American Telephone & Telegraph Co. And Associate Companies." The writing within the bell, "Local and Long Distance Telephone" traces this as a version of the logo that dates to the early-1900s. Comes encased in a frame with glass on both sides to allow viewing of entire item. Very Good condition.
