Bert Sugar's Signature Hat, Cigar and Boxing Hall of Fame Paperweight

Bert Sugar was a noted boxing writer and sports historian. Sugar bought “Boxing Illustrated” magazine in 1969 and was the editor until 1973. From 1979–1983 he was the editor and the publisher of “The Ring.” In 1988 he once again began editing “Boxing Illustrated.” In 1998 he founded Bert Sugar's Fight Game. Sugar authored over 80 books, mostly on boxing history. He is best remembered with his signature hat and cigar. We offer here Sugar's hat, with original band. Made by J. Peterman, size medium. Also included is his signature unused cigar, his own brand, picturing Sugar on the band with matching matches. Lastly included is Sugar's Hall Of Fame paperweight which he has boldly signed, a limited edition (19/100). All in nice condition.
