Cassius Clay Amateur Fight Used Mouth Piece
Cassius Clay's amateur mouthpiece which he used while training in Louisville with Joe Martin. It was kept in an old Noxema jar which is included with this lot. The mouthpiece dates to Clay's amateur career and was likely used during training sessions in the gym and during actual amateur fights. A rare offering from the teenage years of Cassius Clay. A fabulous offering straight from one of the most famous mouths of all time, "The Louisville Lip." LOA from long time Ali collector Peter Morkovin who purchased this item originally.
