The architect of one of the most spectacular murders of the 20th century is still in prison 37 years after committing his heinous acts. All of his parole applications have been rejected and no doubt will continue to be rejected until he is dead and buried. He averages 60,000 pieces of mail a year; much of it "fan" mail from people looking to join his "Family."
