Circa 1960 Warren Spahn Milwaukee Braves Game Worn Hat Attributed to His No-Hitter (MEARS)

Circa 1960 Warren Spahn Milwaukee Braves Game Worn Hat Attributed to His No-Hitter (MEARS)

The winningest left-handed pitcher in baseball history, Warren Spahn, wore this cap for the Milwaukee Braves, and we believe it was on his head during one or both of his no-hitters, though there is no proof outside of the vintage Wilson tag. It is signed and personalized under the flap by the Hall of Famer and World War II veteran, including his #21. Comes with MEARS plus additional LOA.The following items were obtained from the players themselves by a former umpire who was an early collector of game worn material. He had displayed his items with small typed descriptions of the items so that all friends and visitors would know what they were looking at. Most of the items come with the original, vintage typed cards that were displayed with the items.
