Mid-1960s Brooks Robinson Baltimore Orioles Game Worn Hat (MEARS)

Mid-1960s Brooks Robinson Baltimore Orioles Game Worn Hat (MEARS)

Hall of Fame third baseman and perennial Gold Glove Award winner Brooks Robinson is confirmed to have worn this exceptional, classic Orioles cap, which features its original Wilson tag and shows beautiful use. The vintage card accompanying it attributes use to 1967 World Series, but that‚s impossible since Baltimore did not participate in that Fall Classic, so it is likely attributed to the 1966 Series, although we can‚t confirm that. Comes with MEARS plus additional LOA.The following items were obtained from the players themselves by a former umpire who was an early collector of game worn material. He had displayed his items with small typed descriptions of the items so that all friends and visitors would know what they were looking at. Most of the items come with the original, vintage typed cards that were displayed with the items.
