Clay versus Liston Heavyweight Title Rematch Wire Photo
This crisp, pristine 7.5x9.5" framed wire photo shows the results of a knock-out punch by Cassius Clay (Just changed to Ali) in the first minute of the Lewiston, Maine rematch fight against Sonny Liston in 1965. The reaction time and particulars of this fight resulted in rumors of a fix but these were never substantiated. This is a great photo showing a downed Liston and Ali in a tirade. Amazing slight differences to the Neil Leifer version. Condition is NRMT.
