You're in the Army now! Red Schoendienst played amateur baseball at Pine Camp in Upstate New York while in the service, injuring his shoulder in his final game. This very early photo shows a young Red and his teammates, all of whom signed it, although the future Cardinals great signed "Al Schoendienst" as his nickname had not taken hold as of yet. The photo is in VG condition and the signatures rate 6/10 There are four additional unsigned photos of the team playing ball.
