Exceptional Sonny Liston 1960s Charcoal by Tom Morris
Capturing the strength of his form with excellent usage of light, this large, mixed-media vintage painting, oil paint, chalk and charcoal depicts renowned boxer Sonny Liston. A typed card-stock plate reads, "Painting of Sonny Liston, World Heavyweight Boxing Champion. 1962-1964. Painting by Tom Morris. Entrusted by Sid and Marge Dix," and the signature reads "Tom Morris Las Vegas." The included ornate original frame has an early 1960s feel and elegance. Measures 24x30" and is in EX-MT condition.
