Floyd Patterson Cornerman's Jacket
On September 20, 1972, at Madison Square Garden in New York, Muhammad Ali defended his NABF Title against former Heavyweight Champion Floyd Patterson. Ali stopped Patterson in the 7th round in the last fight of the latter's illustrious career. Offered here is a white-cloth, short-sleeve corner shirt worn by one of Patterson's corner men during this fight. The white shirt has FLOYD PATTERSON embroidered in blue print atop the back and HIGHLAND SILK embroidered in fancy, large red type across the center. The tag in the collar reads: "AMPRO Sports 7 Tenison Way, Waterloo, S.E 1." It is in excellent condition and comes with an LOA form Craig Hamilton of JO Sports, Inc.
