Floyd Patterson Signed Gold Everlast Presentation Gloves
On May 20, 1977 in Las Vegas, Nevada an event was conducted to honor the world heavyweight champion. Many of the living past greats attended including Joe Louis, Max Schmeling, Jimmy Braddock, Jack Sharkey, Floyd Patterson, Ingemar Johansson and Muhammad Ali. Offered here are a pair of gold leather gloves which were made up at the time to commemorate this event. Gold, Everlast, regulation size gloves with the lettering, "AMERICA HONORS THE HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION MAY 20, 1977." Both gloves are boldly signed in black Sharpie by Floyd Patterson and originate from his personal collection. NRMT.
