Hank Williams Hand Tooled Wallet

A hand tooled wallet which belonged to Hank Williams in 1947-48, embossed in the leather is his name and a guitar. According to the letter from his sister, Irene Williams Smith, dated 1982, the wallet was created for and owned and used by Hank Williams, and received by her from their mother, Lillian in 1955. Wallet was well used by Hank during his short life, and the gold plaque reads "Circa. 1947-1948 Louisiana Hayride, KWKH." Overall measures 15x15x2.25".
