Heinrich Himmler Signed Letter
This absolutely fascinating, chilling and incredibly well-preserved 1937 letter signed by the Nazi SS leader Heinrich Himmler is a precious find for students of Hitler's evil Third Reich. Himmler, who oversaw "the final solution" for the extermination of Jews, dictated the letter dated May 3, 1937 on "Der Reichsfuhrer SS" stationary. In the German text are the names of several Nazis known for their virulent anti-Semitism, Dr. von Leers and Brigadefuhrer Weisthor. Another is Untersturmfuhrer Otto Rahn, a screwy occultist who obsessed about the Holy Grail. That same year, Rahn fell out with Himmler and turned against Hitler. Two years later he was found dead. Himmler's signature under a typed "Heil Hitler" is in black ink and is a perfect 10/10. The 16 x 22" leter is NRMT with light fading and a fold in the center. An amazing historical artifact.
