Helms Museum Footballs Collection (8)
A museum collection of footballs, many are GAME BALLS: 1) 1960s "Yale" University game ball is a Spalding J5-V. Game is unknown but could be important game. 2) 1951 Junior Rose Bowl presentation game ball is painted with the score "Pasadena City College 18, Tyler Junior College 26, Dec 8, 1951" on a Voit ball. 3) Multi-signed ball reads, "Presented to "Paul Zimmerman President Football Writers Association of America 1958-59," with signatures of California sportswriters. 4) 1930s Montana v USC early game ball with museum tag, could be important moment or game. 5) Unknown Spalding J5 game ball. 6-8) Other early balls with autographs we cannot make out, they need further research; as the Museum is located in California, these could be historic games and teams from the West Coast. From the collection of the esteemed Helms Hall Sports Museum and will come with letter of provenance/authenticity from Lelands.com. NOTE: Some or all could have been used in a major event, or from a special donor. Many of the Helms pieces were unidentified with their source information having been lost through the years. However, through photo analysis we were able to prove things previously unidentified by Helms to be very important artifacts. Do your own research and you may have some real treasures here.
