Henry Armstrong Boxing Shoe

Henry Armstrong Boxing Shoe

Henry Armstrong captured the Featherweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight titles in 1938, and remains the only one to hold three belts simultaneously. This size 11 boxing shoe was worn by Henry Armstrong around the period of the 1930s. Made of nice quality leather and quite large, it's from the collection of the esteemed Helms Hall Sports Museum and will come with letter of provenance/authenticity from Lelands.com. Condition is EX+. NOTE: This piece could very well be from a major event. Many of the Helms pieces were not fully identified with their source information having been lost through the years, however, through photo analysis have been able to match items previously unidentified by Helms to very important events. With a little research, you may have an even greater treasure here.
