A rare team-issue, this coat worn by Jim at the Olympics during the cold 1980 Lake Placid winter. Made of the heaviest down for extreme cold weather, the silk label reads "Powderhorn Mountaineering, Jackson Hole, Wyoming USA". Color scheme is of course, red , white and blue, and includes a very specific USA Hockey Team hand woven patch. High quality, you can imagine the team together all dressed in their matching jackets arriving at the Olympic Village.
