Jim Craig "Miracle" 1980 Winter Olympics Game Used Goalie Stick
Monumentally important, this very stick was used in the Team USA games versus both the Russians and Finland. Jim Craig wielded this stick as goalie in the "Miracle on Ice," his greatest life's achievement, stopping 36 of 39 shots from the Soviet team led by the unbeatable Boris Mikhailov. This stick is a Northland registered patent (stamped) 9182 and shows much use; the black tape is starting to unwind and shows wear on the handle. This lot will come with signed Letter of Authenticity and Provenance from Jim Craig, himself. Estimate: $300,000-400,000.
