Jim Craig "Miracle" Olympics "National Sports Festival" Warm-Up Suit
This warm-up suit was for pre-Olympic use during the games in Colorado, right up to the legendary USA slaughter at the hands of the Russians at Madison Square Garden. This turned out to be the best thing that ever happened as the Russians underestimated our boys. Sponsored by Levi's (what's more American than Levi's?) with a Levi's silk patch (1.5x1.5"), this includes the entire suit; jacket and the matching pants. Both made of deep, blue velour with a National Sports Festival silk patch (2.25x3.25") and "USA" in white lettering on the back. This lot will come with signed Letter of Authenticity and Provenance from Jim Craig, himself. Estimate: $5,000-10,000.
