Jim Craig Levi's Jeans & Dress Outfit Worn in the 1980 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies

Jim Craig Levi's Jeans & Dress Outfit Worn in the 1980 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies

Purely American, these Levi’s blue jeans are prominently stamped "USA Olympic Games 1980." Worn by Jim at the Opening Ceremonies in Lake Placid, they come with the rest of the Opening Ceremonies Dress Outfit, which includes two distinctively American flannel shirts in "grunge" plaid and white, preppy turtleneck with "1980 USA Olympic Games" and rings stitched on the arm, and leather mittens. All clothes except the brown suede sheepskin leather mittens are made by Levi Strauss & Co., and tagged "USA Olympic Games 1980." This lot will come with signed Letter of Authenticity and Provenance from Jim Craig, himself. Estimate: $20,000-30,000.
