John Adams Signed Document
A historic 1767 document, partly handwritten by John Adams and signed by the young Boston lawyer and future President. The document is a "Writ-of-Attachment" on the estate of Hezekiah Thayer, a resident of Braintree, Suffolk County, Massachusetts. Printed text includes the prominent and impressive title "George the Third, by the Grace of GOD, of Great-Britain, France and Ireland, KING, Defender of the Faith, &c.". A fine handwritten seal is affixed on the upper left corner. The document is printed on one side, and is handwritten on both sides, measuring 8 1/4" x 6 1/2". In overall FINE condition, with two vertical creases from folding.
