Historically fascinating material was used by Red as manager and coach for the St. Louis Cardinals. A brilliant tactician, this perfectly represents that fact. From 1967 to the early '70s, with a dearth of material from the 1967 & 1968 championships & World Series. There are voluminous handwritten notes, training reports and itineraries, detailed hitting reports for NL players, rosters, many scouting reports on other players (many handwritten by Cardinals scouts), report on the Red Sox leading up to 1967 World Series, team bulletins, managers syllabi, indeces of players, expense report sheets, minor league scouting reports and so much more. EX condition overall. There are literally thousands of pages, so it really has to be seen in person to be fully appreciated.
