Large Collection of Signed Photographs (320+)
Straight from the Schoendienst family photo albums, these hundreds of shots show Red at various stages of his baseball career... a stretch of more than seven decades. Included here are some publicity shots and photos created for signings. Some are original, one-of-a-kind snapshots, some are black-and-white, some in color. Of particular note are a grouping of 1950s news photos from Red's heyday as a player. Most are in NRMT condition and signed by Red, with the signatures mostly in Sharpie, averaging 8 to 9/10. There is some duplication, including a bunch of promos from Red's Day at Busch Stadium in 1996. Most are 8" x 10"s with some being smaller in size. Lots to sift though here, with detailed memories in abundance.
