Large Redbird Inn Wall Sign
This large sign directed countless hungry – but mostly thirsty – fans into the friendly confines (with apologies to Wrigley Field) of the Redbird Inn, the popular watering hole located in the corridor behind the left field grandstand. The signs motif, with three nesting “baby birds” intermingled with crossed bats behind a “St.L” logo, atop an elongated oblong baseball with “Redbird” arcing across the center in red over “Inn” in white lettering against a red egg shape. Bottom of “ball” is imprinted “Est. 1999.” Twin gold border frames the left and right edges and “RBI” appears in gold on a gold-bordered decal area at the center bottom. Sign is laminated on the top and made of polyurethane. Larger sign is 43” wide from feather to feather on top and 57” long and in EX condition. <br>(Estimate $300 - $500)
