Large Turn Of The Century Women's Baseball Silk (23"x23")

One of the finest silk specimens of its period to ever surface, this near flawless example was originally manufactured by Campbell, Metzger, and Jacobsen in 1902. At center is an attractive female dressed in full baseball garb surrounded by small white squares which explain common terms used in baseball through the use of comic illustrations. The silk displays strong color and is free of any yarn slippage or tears, NRMT.
