Mark McGwire Single-Signed Baseballs and Bat
The man who broke Roger Maris' single-season home run record in 1998, Mark McGwire signed four official National League (Coleman) baseballs around that time as the slugger dated three of them "98." Each is EX-MT and the signatures, all of which were obtained in person by Cardinals legend Red Schoendienst, rate 8/10. The Rawlings show-style bat is NRMT and signed in 9/10 black Sharpie on the barrel with the added notation of "98." McGwire's feats diminished in successive years when his reliance upon steroids came to light.
