Mickey Cochrane and Others at Toots Shor's Photographs (6)
Catcher Mickey Cochrane moved well behind the plate, but it was nothing compared to his dexterity on the dance floor. Four of these six photos show him doing his famous "Shuffle off to Buffalo" dance at famous Manhattan celebrity hangout Toots Shor's as Ty Cobb and Tris speaker look on in enjoyment (note Ty Cobb's huge smile). Five of the shots are 8" x 10" and one is 11" x 14" with each taken by Bill Mark (his stamp is on the back) from the famous baseball summit in the early 1950s Cy Young, Kid Nichols and Toots are also pictured here. Overall, the group is in EX condition.
