Mickey Mantle 465ft Home Run Wire Photo (1957)
Amazing wire photo of HOF slugger Mickey Mantle holding up the ball he had just "walloped" 465 feet on July 24, 1957. Photo is 8" x 10" and is in EX condition with only a newspaper edit marking in blue pen underlining Mickey's name. The HR smash came within 2 rows of clearing the right center field portion of the Stadium. It is interesting to note that Mantle also hit for the cycle that day in the Yankees win 10-6 over the Chisox.
