Milwaukee Braves Collection (7)

Milwaukee Braves Collection (7)

The City of Milwaukee has celebrated just one Major League Baseball championship over the years, but it wasn't the current club - the Brewers - that hoisted the trophy. The team now located in Atlanta - the Braves - turned the trick in 1957, with future Hall of Famer Red Schoendienst playing second base for the club. From that magical season come these artifacts, all of which are in EX condition unless otherwise noted: A 1957 NL Champions felt pennant (VG), sheet music (torn), hand-made leather wallet with Red's name on it, 1957 Braves plaque given to Red at the 40th anniversary ceremony, a banquet program (VG), ashtray and desk set awarded to Red in 1957 for being selected as the Outstanding Catholic Athlete of the Year.
