Montreal Canadiens Vintage Harvey & Dryden g/u Sticks
If you put these two players on the ice, a five on two powerplay would come up empty. Doug Harvey was one of the top five defensive defenseman ever to lace a pair of skates. He earned some of that praise carrying the stick we present. Used during the 1955-56 season is his CCM Pro Extra Special. The stick bears the Ernie Evernden custom stamp on the blade. The original tape on the butt end remains untouched after fifty years. Marked Raymond Sporting Goods on the shaft along with custom made,Harvey, #2. Top that off with about 15 vintage team signatures which include: Beliveau, Geoffrion, Rocket Richard, Olmstead, Curry, Marshall etc and this is one grand slice of Hab's folklore. And just for a bonus, the second part of this two piece collection just happened to belong to a goalie named Ken Dryden. The Sherwood wide body is all original from the1976-77 season. The tape on both ends were never touched and bear the marks of many denied goals. Marked 29 - K. Dryden on the shaft, this is a beauty. About the best defensive pair of game used sticks you will ever see.
