Outstanding site poster on heavy cardboard for Muhammad Ali vs. Earnie Shavers, September 29, 1977 in Madison Square Garden. Ali, clearly past his prime successfully defended the title against the aging, but tough Earnie Shavers, who was never able to launch a full assault on the Champion. The otherwise slow fight was capped by an exciting slugfest in the final round. Poster headlined by “Come see the greatest array of fistic dynamite in the world.” 4 other bouts are also advertised, with photos of every fighter. Some spotted staining at the top and poster is creased once in the middle. Otherwise EX.
